Technical Secretary (Bath)

Type: Permanent
Salary: over £17000

A Technical Secretary is required to join an Engineering Consultancy firm based on the outskirts of Bath. The firms primary function is to offer marine engineering expertise to Defence and Commercial (e.g. Babcock, BAE Systems and PepsiCo) organisations.

In this role you will be required to:

  • Interpret/manipulate data

  • Data population and amendments using bespoke software

  • Produce and audit technical returns

  • Provide a Quality Assurance role

  • Generate and manage in-house business processes

  • Formulating and proof reading important documents prior to delivery

  • Assist Company Directors at meetings

  • Work within a team environment support other secretaries and Technical Consultants

In order to secure the role you will need to be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • High work standards and ethics

  • A good knowledge with all Microsoft programmes and preferably an advanced level in Excel (desirable not essential)

Our bespoke development scheme will allow the candidate to experience several technical disciplines whilst working with our industry experts on projects such as the new Queen Elizabeth Class Aircraft Carrier and through life support of Surface and Sub-Surface Naval and Commercial Platforms.
