Following a thorough commercial bidding process, Xpedite were successful in earning a place on the MoD Royal Navy Enabling Arrangement for Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM) Technical Support. The Enabling Arrangement states an on-going requirement to conduct RCM in support of the Unit Maintenance Management System (UMMS) to both current and future Royal Navy and Royal Fleet Auxiliary flotilla (and some shore-based establishments). Xpedite have proven experience working with the MoD RCM Team and working inline with the Aladon RCM II methodology.
The technical support requirement is expected to include, (but will not be limited to); RCM Studies (Provision of: Facilitators, Technical Analysts & Technical Secretaries), Review and Refresh Existing Maintenance, Compilation of Job Information Cards, Optimised Maintenance, Task / Asset Linking, Identification of NATO Stores Inventory, Conducting RCM Training Courses and supply of Training Materiel.
Xpedite are looking forward to working closely with the MoD’s own RCM Project Staff, Equipment Authorities and Platform Support Organisations over the next 4 years.
Under this Enabling Arrangement Xpedite have already won the following contracts:
• Provide in-service maintenance management support for In-Service Submarines (ISM)
• Provide in-service maintenance management support for SC-Frigates
• Support to provide maintenance data from UMMS for DES-Ships
• Scheduling and generation of maintenance for HMS VANGUARD
