Our Technical Consultant team is made up of specialists from across the maritime environment – including but not limited to Royal Navy (surface and sub-surface), Royal Fleet Auxiliary, Commercial shipping etc.
The salary for this position is negotiable, depending on experience.
As a Technical Consultant your responsibilities will include:
- Customer support activities across multiple MoD and service provider domains;
- Applying engineering knowledge and judgement to provide technical analysis and troubleshooting support;
- Technical authoring;
- Maintenance management including optimisation and through life support;
- Project Management activities;
- Supporting Xpedite’s Intelligence Delivery Team in the development of future products and applications;
- Mentoring junior engineers and graduates;
- Business development.
We are looking for enthusiastic, flexible and reliable team members, who demonstrate the following skills:
- Current in-service MoD and commercial maritime engineering knowledge and experience is essential;
- Experience in maintenance and maintenance planning within the Marine or Weapons engineering[SE1] departments is preferable;
- Project management qualification (Desirable);
- Excellent communication skills;
- Strong IT skills (including MS Office programmes);
- High ethos, high value with strong interpersonal skills.
It should be noted that to be considered for this role, you must be aUK national and eligible to hold UK Security Clearance at SC level.
